Music @ SWFSSWFS: The Newest Bosendorfer Venue in Manhattan! 11/21/2007 | Cantor Daniel Singer
 In August of 2007, Stephen Wise Free Synagogue became the owner of a brand new Bosendorfer Imperial concert grand piano. Due to our Lincoln Center location and appropriately sized hall, Bosendorfer felt that SWFS would be the perfect place to be the first venue in Manhattan appropriate to feature their largest Imperial piano - complete with an extra nine keys in the bass. From C to shining C. Thanks to the generosity of Bosendorfer of New York and Bosendorfer of Vienna, the Arie and Ira Crown Memorial Foundation, and a generous group of benefactors from SWFS, we were able to bring this magnificent instrument into our sanctuary. It beautifies all of our services with its rich and majestic tone and provides the perfect instrument to draw the greatest artists to our Music Series. The combination of this piano with our hall makes our sanctuary a very appealing rental space for recordings, rehearsals, and of course, performances.
