4's/5's Program

As children turn 4 and 5, their investigations and curriculum explorations take on greater depth. Units of study often span many weeks or even months, depending on the interests of the group. As children become more analytical in their thinking, they are able to express their learning in a representational manner. Due to our favorable teacher/student ratios, teachers are able to address the children according to their developmental needs. Children often explore an area of the curriculum in small groups, allowing for a deep understanding of the subject matter, as well as lots of individual attention.

The 4’s/5’s classes meet five days per week, from 9:00am to 2:45pm Monday through Thursday and 9:00am to 1:15pm on Fridays. Lunch is provided by each family and served in the classrooms.
