SWFS Caring Community Committee

The SWFS Caring Community provides assistance to members in times of need and celebrates with them in times of joy.

Volunteer Roles: Friendly phone calls or visits; assistance driving members to and from synagogue or appointments; attend or lead shiva minyan; assemble or deliver holiday packages. We also urge you to contact us if you need any assistance.

Times, Commitment, and Location: Varies.

These are just a few examples of the activities the Caring Community Committee plans to undertake this year. You can help us help each other. Let us know of births, graduations, promotions, as well as illness or death, whether within your family or in a fellow SWFS family. Let us know which of the activities listed above interest you. We encourage the participation of volunteers to keep in touch with our members through telephone calls, visits, by sending cards, or helping us organize special events. We are currently seeing volunteers who can chaperone people to and from High Holy Day Services.

Watch for new opportunities in upcoming Bulletin articles.
