Know Us
"Know before whom you stand" is a famous Hebrew phrase that adorns many synagogue sanctuaries including our own. But often, as synagogues experience significant growth, it can become increasingly challenging for congregants to maintain a strong connection with their synagogue - whether to their clergy, fellow congregants, events, or the divine. At Stephen Wise, no matter how large we grow, we aspire to always know one another and resolve to maintain the feeling of a small and intimate community.
We take many steps to continue to know one another and strengthen the bonds of our community. We invite you to develop new relationships by getting involved in a volunteer opportunity, a group, a committee, a social event, prayer services, communal study, musical programs, or leadership.
