Give back to the community!  Our younger students look up to our Teaching Assistants as role models, teachers, and friends. Our TAs are seen as compassionate and respected leaders in the SWFS community.  Beginning in Eighth Grade, students are invited to apply for our Madrichim – Teaching Assistant program* as part of the ZARKOR Program.  Students electing to participate in this program will be given the opportunity to assist a head teacher in our Religious School classrooms.  Students will begin to develop the teaching skills and poise that will be helpful in high school, college, and professional organizations in the future, as well as establish a bond with potential references they can later call on for educational and work recommendations.

*Teaching Assistants must commit at least one hour each week in the classroom and attend monthly TA meetings. Students with experience in photography, art, web design, composition, and communications can also become specialized Teaching Assistants both in and out of the classroom.  If you have a special skill, let us know!  We want you to join us!
