We want to know your great news! The youngest members of our congregation are warmly welcomed at SWFS, with personal congratulations sent from Rabbi Ammiel Hirsch and Rebecca Kaplan, our Community Service Coordinator.

To commemorate the event, contact , Assistant to the Senior Rabbi, about planning a brit or baby naming. She can be reached at x226, and will be happy to coordinate these moving services with you. Since we know the months can fly by, baby namings can happen months or even a year after the birth.

You can also stop by to visit Rabbi Hirsch and introduce him to your newest family member. Hugs and kisses are promised!

The connection continues with the following year's High Holy Day Neilah service, where all babies and children welcomed into SWFS families since the previous Yom Kippur will be blessed on the bimah, surrounded by the glow of the community, the sound of the shofar, and the symbolic Havdalah service.
