Rebecca joined SWFS in August 2010 in a new position: Director of The Center for Values and Community Service. With a history of Jewish communal service, Rebecca served for four years as the Director of Jewish Student Life at Hunter College at Hillel.

Her passion for the Jewish People coupled with her abiding conviction in tzedek (justice) brings the perfect blend of vision and action to SWFS. In her time here, Rebecca has initiated several new programs, including outreach to SWFS seniors living alone, a bereavement program, a jobs program and a community-supported food group which includes an Israel produce component.

Rebecca holds an MSW from Hunter College.
