All of synagogue life revolves around the three pillars of Judaism: Torah (Jewish learning), avodah (worship) and gemilut chasadim (compassionate and moral acts that make life better for others). We are committed to our synagogue being a vibrant, energetic center of Jewish activity that reflects these three pillars.

The idea of a “free” synagogue originated here. We embrace the ideal of freedom of the pulpit and we are not restrained by conventional ideologies. Like all synagogues, we count on paid memberships.
