Diana Fersko is an associate rabbi at Stephen Wise Free Synagogue. Since arriving here in 2012, some of her proudest accomplishments include establishing a robust conversion studies program and creating Shabbat After Dark for 20s and 30s, where hundreds of millennials gather on a monthly basis. She also envisioned and co-led a mission to Greece and Germany to provide aid and financial support to refugees of the Syrian Civil War. A prolific writer, Rabbi Fersko’s commentary has appeared in the Huffington Post, the Forward, ReformJudaism.org, and RavBlog.
Rabbi Fersko received her ordination from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in New York City, where she also earned a master’s degree in Hebrew literature and is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where she completed her studies with highest academic honors.
