From  holiday-themed family experiences to our legendary Purim spiel, there are many ways to celebrate Purim at Stephen Wise Free Synagogue. Join us!

Family Shabbat: Grades K-2 (Get Ready For Purim!)

Children ages five to nine and their loves ones will celebrate Purim by making scratch-art masks and Purim puppets, and playing a special dice game. Our celebration of Purim will continue with games and creating colorful groggers and masks.

Tot Shabbat Together: Get Ready For Purim!

Designed for children ages four and under and their grown-ups, this fun and interactive service features Purim songs and Hamantaschen and is followed by mask making and Purim-inspired art projects.

Ever want to let loose and sing your best rendition of Shawn Mendes, Lady Gaga, or Imagine Dragons songs? Here's your chance! Join us for Purim karaoke as we team up to tell the story of Purim through musical parodies. The program will begin with families gathering for the opening part of Shabbat services in the sanctuary and will be followed by a pizza dinner.

Megillah Reading

Take part in our annual interactive reading of the Gantze Megillah, the scroll of Esther, from beginning to end. No RSVP necessary to listen, but if you're interested in participating in the Megillah reading, please email Cantor Daniel Singer at  .

Purim Goes Pop: A Top 40 Spiel

Participate in a new take on a beloved tradition at Stephen Wise. Hum along to classic rock, with lyrics that tell the story of Esther. For those who are unable to join us in person, we will be live streaming the spiel at www.swfs.org/live.
