The Stephen Wise Free Synagogue Religious School Program provides age-appropriate opportunities for your child’s Jewish learning from ages 5-18.
We focus on the importance of building a supportive learning community for students, teachers, and families. We offer many opportunities for families to join together for Jewish learning and experiences. Our program allows students to make friends while building a positive connection to the synagogue and to the Jewish people in a setting that they know and feel comfortable in. Jewish education is a partnership with the entire family and we understand that family education is an integral part of developing Jewish identity. We look forward to accompanying you and your family on this Jewish journey.
To attend Religious School, every family must hold membership in the synagogue and every child must also be registered. Registration information and forms are sent to parents in early May and should be returned as soon as possible to reserve the child’s spot.
Please take a few minutes to reserve your spot for the 2016-17 school year:
Additional forms and important paperwork will be sent to you this summer to review and fill out before the fall term begins! Billing will be seen on your July 2016 bill.
Students who are new to the school will be placed in the grade concurrent with their secular school grade. The director of the Religious School is always willing to meet individually with families to discuss needs, programs, and other concerns.
