Please join us and The Israeli Artists Project for a play reading where talented actors confront the enduring sense of loss and unease caused by the Holocaust.
Wall of Glass is a drama that follows Rachel, a successful Israeli dancer living in Germany, and her estranged family as they mourn their patriarch, a Holocaust survivor and eminent judge. Will meeting in a German concentration camp to add grandfather's ashes to those of his mother and sister heal this broken family's wall of glass?
The Israeli Artists Project is a non-profit organization and theater company dedicated to presenting Israeli plays in Hebrew and English, providing a platform for local Israeli artists and connecting the Israeli and American communities through theater and the arts.
This reading is part of the 5th Annual Remembrance Readings which was started in 2015 by the National Jewish Theater Foundation in honor of the International Holocaust Memorial Day.
To support the Israeli Artists Project, we strongly recommend an $18 donation the day-of the event.
Sponsored by Stephen Wise Free Synagogue's Anti-Semitism Task Force and Chofshi B'Manhattan.
RSVP on Eventbrite.
